Im quite late to this post but found your post very interesting and useful. your comparison between the ordinary text books and DRM is great. But with any thing,there is both pros and cons and we should go with the way which suit us. As technology goes on upgrading, we have to keep pace with it and hence we cant still go with the traditional way of going with text books. So lets see how it goes..
